It is hard to control the equalizer in fine detail. It's great in many ways, but it can be frustrating at times. It won't work with certain files, so I have to know how to make it work. Lexis is simple and straightforward, even though it's not easy to understand. Although I don't have any audio engineering knowledge, I was able to understand what I needed. I looked around and couldn't locate a setting that wouldn't let my phone enter sleep mode. If anyone has any suggestions on how to prevent this happening again, I would be grateful. I tried recording a concert but the Samsung s10 turned off the screen when it went off. Therefore, I am removing "Lexis audio editor" However, "AndroSound(ZeoRing)," one of the four apps that I tried made it clear and simple to use. It was easy to find out how to use the apps that I have on my Android S9. I did try cutting off a small section of one file but could not find any way to save. It didn't have a help file so I was unable to figure it out. It was a simple matter of merging two files and deleting a portion from the middle. However, it won't be as useful if your goal is to edit multiple songs at once. It could use some improvements, like a chorus, phaser, or distortion. However, it had fewer effects and options than it does now. It was amazing when it was first released. Although it has some limitations, there are still many features I am eager to use. Even though I recorded from an unprofessional phone call, the app was able boost and correct it with its own version to make it clearer. The app's recording quality is professional enough to be used as a phone record. The quality does not have to be exceptional. This is what I will use to edit audio files. However, for someone who wants the best quality song possible, this renders that audio editor useless. This happens in every audio editor that I have tried. Two thumbs up, five stars.Īlthough this app is the most precise and useful for editing audio files, it can also cause a lot of annoying background noises. Basic tutorials may be available for each effect to help beginners understand how it works. You could add more processing and effects, and be able to import wav files of high quality. It could be used in portrait mode instead of being forced to remain landscape. This is especially useful when voice dictation programs are sending the recording to Dragon dictation software. It is easy to record on the fly and I can easily make any corrections right there in the recording. It is simple to use and powerful once you get used to the interface. why does it tell me that I cannot save to.mp3, when I am saving to.m4a? And that all the paths and.m4a are in a paid version.Įxcellent excellent excellent! It is one of the most powerful audio editing apps ever. This is much easier than other audio editors and it looks great! But, I have one question. You can also play the entire song, which is a nice feature, as opposed to my audio editor. It's easy to change the song's tempo and preview it. Finally, it was fixed! It is now possible to edit my audio again with it! It crashes every time I attempt to export audio. The developer thanked me for reviewing the app and tried to contact me. UPDATE: The app stopped working after my phone was updated to an Android version. Although I was able to do a save as with the file browser it did not work if my previous MP3 was longer than the one I have just recorded. It was a major headache to find what I needed. It is necessary to first delete the file and then save. It is no longer possible to overwrite files using the save as option. If they offered multitrack, I would probably give them 5 stars. The paid version can allow you to add up to 5 tracks, while the free version may only let you upload 3. The app is long-standing enough to allow multitrack recording, even though it allowed only 2 or 3. It doesn't support multitrack recording which is a major problem that severely hampers its utility. It's a good app that reminds me of Audacity on Windows.
